Regina kind of says that in 1x02 "I can be happy. …Just not here."

After this face he didn't hug her... Cold-hearted!

Can I just say how happy I am the writers made it obvious that Regina's evilness comes from magic. Even with everything she went through, she still wanted to be a good person. I absolutely loved the episode. All Regina's parts anyway. And I'm so happy Cora's alive.

I think it's incredible sad that she didn't want to be her mother and she was starting to become just like her. I'm glad she realized that soon enough.

It was really tragic to watch Regina fight the influence of dark magic - both the magic that Cora inflicted on her and that made her feel like she didn't even knew herself anymore and the magic that Rumple offered to her. The scene with Henry the father in particular was terribly sad. And don't even get me started on the bitter irony of how Regina trying to fight off evil only lead to even more evil introducing itself into her life.

Oh I am sure he will hug her eventually...and when it happens it will be an awesome and very emotional scene. We just have to be a little patient, last week's episode was great for them and this week's episode gave me even more hope. They are going in the right direction with this relationship this season and I think there will be a lot of good moments.

And that gif is just :bawl: Ugh Lana and her perfect acting

All of this, even the Cora part  I have conflicted feelings about Cora but one thing is for sure: I want a massive confrontation between Regina and Cora in Storybrooke. I've wanted it since "The Stable Boy" and after their last scene in "We are both" I want it even more.

I agree the curse wasn't just about revenge for Regina, she wanted a fresh start (there is no happiness left for me in this life, they already think I'm nothing...). And Regina really, really didn't want to have to use the curse (she even gave it to Maleficent), but there came a point where the curse seemed to be her last chance, which is exactly what Rumple wanted, and she enacted it out of desperation.

I agree. When Henry does hug her, it will really be a wonderful scene. I have a lot of hope for this relationship. I love the gif. That scene is just so terrific, and Lana is amazing.

Now that we know for sure that Cora is alive, I'm really looking forward to a future confrontation between them.

I am actually willing to wait on this one to be honest. I think it would have been kinda weird if he had hugged her in last night's episode. Yes she is his mother, yes she raised him for ten years and took care of him but she also lied to him for a long time. I think when the hug does come I would prefer their relationship to be a little bit better. Perhaps Regina can redeem herself in his eyes. I mean I know she said she wanted to redeem herself in last night's episode and I believe she will but she kinda has to prove it to Henry now before they can even begin to work things out. So when that hug does come I want their relationship to be in a better place than it is now.

Yes, as much as I wanted Henry to hug Regina I think it would have been a little out of place. It's too early for that.

I know that's why I think the Dark Curse is like a trick or a joke it may be for the person who casts the curse because as they say ignorance is bliss I mean even the Mad Hatter got to see his daughter that's more than most people could hope for.
